BOTTLED BLESSINGS!

Worship Center allowed us to have a Bake Sale/Auction and we raised over $600! Thanks WC!

We believe we will do one more fundraiser before leaving for Colombia; uncertain at this time what that might be. If you have creative suggestions, please let us know. Email me or Ben.

Also, we're recyclers now! If you have any of the following, we take hand-me-downs, or willing to pay for used items:

• 3T-4T GIRL CLOTHES
• 4T-5T BOY CLOTHES
• DOUBLE SEATER STROLLER
• TODDLER CAR SEATS (THE CHILDREN ARE B/W 27-36 LBS)
• BUNK BEDS
• CHILDREN/YOUTH DRESSERS, OR OLD DRESSERS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN
• LEARNING TOYS

We have not elected to have a baby shower at this time. We want to have a "Welcome to America or Welcome Home Party" a month or two after we are all home so that they may meet the extended family and friends. Anyways, if you see a good sale or an item that is suitable from a garage sale, please give Ben or me a call, so we can check it out! Thanks!

THE PHONE CALL

Some people say the Stork delivers...UPS delivered the OFFICIAL REFERRAL packet...blessed are the feet that bring good news!!! Of course, I had to ask him to pose for a picture!

This past Friday, Sara from CHI called, and notified us that...

we got our "OFFICIAL REFERRAL"! We are so excited!

They are adorable children!

The oldest child is male and is 5 years, 1 month.

The middle child is female and 3 years, 8 months.

The youngest is male and 2 years, 6 months.

And...they are POTTY-TRAINED!!! All of them!

Isn't that excellent? God is good!

We are absolutely thrilled. The oldest child looks just like Ben!

We are expected to travel in 3-4 weeks. We will be required to stay in Colombia for 3-4 weeks as well. We ask you to pray as we are going into a dangerous area of the country near the Amazon. We believe God has already went before us, and look forward to our journey to our children!

Thanks for all your encouraging words and prayers extended to us and over us during this time. We look forward to introducing them to you soon!

Change, Change, Change...

We have collected more bottles...from some of the Bunco Girls, JFCU, Sun Orchard Nursery, my Mom, Dad and Woody W, and Rebecca T. We've made one deposit of $120. Ben finished rolling another $250 deposit today!!!

We have hit the $1,000 mark! YIPPEE! We are $416 away from our $1,500 goal! Thanks again and again...we can make this happen...

Our fundraising efforts continue as we auction off baked goods this weekend at Church...featuring Ms. Kathryn's Famous Banana Pudding, Lisa's Yummy Pineapple Cake, Rebecca's Royal Lemon Ice-box Pie, Tammy's Pecan Pies, Wendi's Superb Strawberry Delight, and much more...

Our approximate remaining balance is $9,416! Woohoo! God is good. So much more than just good! He is awesome! I can't wait to be "Mami"!!!
