As I was looking over the initial USCIS paperwork, I realized we were ALREADY approved with them for a seven year old girl or boy! So, the only changes would be our cover letter to ICBF requesting to be placed on another list.
Our goal is to have the paperwork sent back to Colombia for translation and approval by May-June. The question remains...will we request Cali region or leave it blank...
On this trip most likely, one of us will stay behind to complete the adoption. Neither are fluent in Spanish. The families in Bogota have a great deal of support from our agencies contact/liason. So, Bogota or Cali, where we have friends, would be our heart's desire... BUT, we know the FATHER above works it all together for those who trust in Him... so, whatever His will be... wherever He says go, we will go... (I'm just hoping it's near other English-speaking people!)

There is always Medellin. I might have a connection or two there! :) And not nearly as cold as Bogota!
And the courts in Medellin tend to be faster than Bogota...I'm just saying. :)
