In August, Kent Henry, Worship Leader from STL came to visit our church. It was a great time in the Lord. He was very refreshing. This brother has recorded several worship CDs and is well known in many Christian circles. He was the coolest dude ever! He was so down to earth, friendly and all around person. He greeted me with a HUGE smile and hug!

Ben and I wanted to have an opportunity to have him pray and prophesy over our family and church, and he did just that in the car on the way to the airport! It was kindof hard to have "alone" time with him, as everyone was eager to glean from Him a Word from the Lord. He was a very encouraging and refreshing brother.

He taught about how to recover the burnt stones, the broken people who may have left the church...how vital they are. There is an outstanding number of people who are abused, neglected or hurt by the church or the "church people" that have withdrawn from the local body and don't return. The church needs those people. We need those people! So, he encouraged us to seek hard after them, love on em, and plug them in!
Now, worship was way cool, too! He led you right up to Heaven's doors! It was good. We were blessed. An interesting thing about one of our conversations was that we got to share our adoption story. He even has family who is considering adoption. So, that was pretty cool.

The kids loved him! I bet he's a great grandpa! He even sang Happy Birthday from the pulpit for Tatiana! Now, how many people get to say that? God bless!
