It is with sadness that we report our first dog together as a family, Ellie, died. Ellie was sickly as she aged. Her kidneys were shutting down and she was losing control of her bowels. She was a dear pet to us. Our first pet as a married couple. For five years, she was our baby. She will be missed... the kids took it better than their mami. They were cheering her on to heaven... whether or not animals go to heaven, I do not know, but I choose to believe they do.
My dear, Ellie... I hope you are running wild and having a blast chasing balls in Heaven...
