Warning: Objects in Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear

I LOVE, LOVE this picture! I thought what an excellent blog photo! I wish I could say it was mine, but it's not. It's one I snagged from someone who went on the trip with FBC Youth to Colombia.

So, when I look at this picture, I'm reminded of the warning message on the passenger's side mirror. Warning: Objects in Mirror are Closer than They Appear. I think about some of the unknowns... and wonder... and hope.

I believe it when the Bible says that all things work together for those who believe in Him. Sometimes though...the waiting is hard. The waiting can be such an extreme test of faith. I'm not just speaking about adoption, but general major life events, themselves. Sometimes, we walk through the valleys and they seem never-ending. But, today, I look at this picture and think... the end is near, much closer than we realize... this battle that I carry as my own...it is His! And well, He always prevails!
