The rest of the trip...

so, finally, two-three weeks later.

I believe it was Wednesday when we were in Colombia that we learned the drummer for the main church in Palmira, was hit by a bus. Both his arms and leg was bummed by the accident, disabling him from playing for a while... the next night, we were told that the lead piano player for the church in Coronado (where the feeding ministry takes place), was drug 30 meters under a bus! He testified to hearing the bus passengers yell "You killed him! You killed him!" as he was being drug under the bus! That young man came to church on Friday nite wounded physically, but yet fighting spiritually for the Kingdom of God at hand! He made a declaration that night that he was there to serve our God, the King of the Universe, and gave God praises! As so did we...stunned and in disbelief to see him stand before the people and know he was in so much pain! It was very humbling...

On Friday nite, we went back to Coronado, and Ben preached. However, before Ben preached, there was more news that the bus in which the ministry had rented hit a bicyclist. According to Bro. Milton, any time a vehicle is involved in an accident it is impounded until all parties involved determine if they are going to sue or not.

What is up with all this? Is this common? Well, bicycle/motorcycle accidents, indeed are common. However, no one in the church had ever been involved in an accident since Bro. Milton & Brooke had returned to Colombia to serve about 2-3 years ago.

It was obvious to us that more was going on than what our physical eyes could see. There was a battle warring.... a spiritual one. We were able to encourage the leadership after the message Ben shared and pray for them. God gave me a specific word before we left and while there, continued to give me scriptures in which were all appropriate for this time, this leadership group...

Steve Hill & Ministry will be doing a crusade the end of this month or beginning of July. Their core ministry team is made up of a remnant of people that were saved from the Steve Hill Crusade about 17 years ago! I guess the devil just might be feeling a little threatened! Hmph!

You got people drug under buses, beat up, and threatened STILL preaching the word! Ha! Look out devil! We know how the story ends!

Please pray for the ministry as they continue to take back what the devil has stolen, to reclaim and rename those things...those people, in Jesus' name!

It was a great time! So much more than words could write in a post or series of posts... We look forward to going back... and plan to invest our time into the Rosetta Stone, but also invest money into a version for the children to learn also.
