- No Mas Estrellas- There were several signs along the main highways saying no more stars! Stars are painted on the road where someone was killed by car accident.
- Most all the women-even the skinny ones- wear girdles.
- Sugar cane is one of the largest exports of Colombia, and they make this really good caramelized sugar that they eat on a stick!
