June 4th, "Our BIG Day!"

Tomorrow is our second year anniversary as a family! We are excited to be here in Colombia to share this day with our children and celebrate how God knitted our hearts together. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be parents and God choosing us to parent these three special little ones!

Tomorrow, we will go into Cali ICBF and drop off donations. Today, we called Lucia to find out if there were anything we needed to do or if they would even let us in. Initially, she was reserved in talking with me. I think I caught her off guard. She asked if anyone was going to help us. Then I gave the phone to our friend and Pastor, and when he spoke with her she became more open. She asked him our children's names. He said it sounded as if she were typing them into a computer, and then after that she really opened up and sounded surprised and asked specific questions about the children and where we were and who Milton was. She asked if we were coming to Bogota and next time to come there and see her. She also told him that we didn't know how special that phone call meant to her today, and she was so glad we called. She told us exactly who to ask for in ICBF and what to say if anyone had any questions. She said they will be happy to take the donations, also.

Ben will preach at one of the churches tomorrow and Friday nite. So, tomorrow will be a big day for us. This has been a great experience for us, and we are so blessed to have been part of the Greater Colombian Adventure and look forward to doing this again in the future!
