the best summer yet!

Yea! Our New Friends! Andrew said, "Mami, I love my new friends!"

A few nights ago, I got a surprise email from Rena! She and Nate decided to bring the family to the Coast! Road Trip! I was so excited! Earlier this summer, we were gonna try to meet up in the middle, but that didn't seem to work out. So, when I got the email, I was super-psyched to tell Ben! They drove in today. We went to dinner together, and then went back to their hotel to play in the swim pool.

Rena & Nate are an awesome couple! I learned much about them thru following their journey. They have adopted a sib group of 4 from Colombia! So, we kindof had a little Colombian reunion tonight! The children had a lot of fun! Andrew, especially, likes the idea that he and Alex are 6!

Alex, Sebastian, Erika, and Luisa-- wow! They are beautiful! They have gorgeous hair! I think I may try to grow Diego's hair out like Alex and Sebastian's! They are so adorable!!!

They are going to come to Church with us tomorrow. Ben is preaching! After Church, we will go to Dauphin Island, hopefully and hang out some more. It has been such a treat! Rena has been real encouraging to me at times, and I appreciate her and her wisdom! She rocks! It is such a blessing to meet her and her family in person. They are great!

This summer we have had a great time meeting new friends from all around! We met Ms. Jenn & Nataly (TN), Mrs. Sherri, Caleb, Isaac Diego, & Mr. Joel (NY), the Hills' (MS), and tonight, the Duewels'(KS)! It is neat meeting people that we have adopted through our same agency or have followed our adoption journey! I hope that we and our children will always be friends. These are really some great people! It is amazing how God networks his people!
