Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky & Maine!

Isaac Diego!!!

A beautiful child of God... Knit in the mother's womb... God has mighty plans for this little guy! Please join with me in praying for he and his family as they wait for the complete healing of his body to manifest. Isaac has symptoms similar to that of Cerebral Palsy, but he actually has two small gaps in his brain which is causing problems for him to walk or use his muscles appropriately, and talk. His parents, Sherri and Joel, believe God has promised them that Isaac will walk. Dreams of this happening from other people have verified that he too, will walk. According to the doctors' reports, he has no chance! We do NOT believe the report of the doctors. Isaac will walk! Isaac will talk! He will be a mighty soldier in God's Army!

Won't you join in prayer with me and this family? God has a great plan for Isaac and his family even now as they journey thru this valley. Sherri and Joel have heeded to the voice of the Lord and stood in the gap for Isaac when no one else would. Please support them thru your prayer and encouragement as they continue to provide him with the love and support Isaac needs so very much! Thank you in advance!

We are looking for at least one person in each of the 50 states to lift this little guy in prayer. I am going to post this request periodically until we have each of the 50 states represented. This post, I am looking for someone in Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, and Maine! If you or someone you know is from one of these states and are willing to pray, please comment. Leave a prayer or scripture and I will forward to the parents. Thank you so much for your time and prayers! May God bless you always!

A ray of hope...

Doctors have a way of putting the perspective of reality before us in a way that seemingly undermines the omnipotence of our Sovereign Lord. There are some, but likely few, who understand the reality of the power of prayer.

A couple of years ago we had a tent revival in a small town where a woman, who was bound by a wheelchair, lived. I am not sure of what exactly put her in such a predicament but in an attempt to keep her legs from drawing up the doctors cut the tendons in the back of her legs. I know the ones that connect to the feet and possibly the ones connected from the upper leg to the bottom(not an A/P biology major here so I could be incorrect in partial details).

The doctors told her that she would never be able to walk again because of this and she would have to rely upon the wheelchair. But after (7) seven years (wow, just thought of the completeness there) at a small town revival she was healed. Touched by God, Made Whole if you will. Glory to God for it! Seven years of sitting in a chair, seven years of having no hope given by doctors.

Sometimes it seems as though we hope against hope as we see the time passing and no results forming in the midst but I like what the book of Romans has to say about it. He(Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded, that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.(Romans 4:16-21)

Lets be strong in faith and give glory to God. Lets let our testimony's be a memorial to look back upon, to build faith upon

Love ya sis

Hi Wendi.

This is Sherri's friend Karyn. I met you this past Sunday when you were here visiting. It was nice to meet you and put a real face to the name I have come to know through Sherri's blog. You have a beautiful family. I am praying for you and your family.
I love the video you posted of the kids playing in the hammock. "Run Andrew, run!!" It is so cool how God brings us into each other's lives in the strangest ways sometimes. Sorry we didn't get a chance to really chat, but I know we will see each other some day soon.

God bless you and your family.

In Him,
Karyn Harper

God will work his miracles as He already has by bringing Sherri and Wendi together. What a strongly, knitted bond the adoption world weaves. So happy you all were able to be together, pray and introduce your children. I know that God is saying without a doubt that more greatness is to come!
