I like that! That was a phrase used in the book by Tenney that I read this past weekend. I want to share some of their comments with you throughout this week...
Chapters 1-4:
They may run faster than you-but they can’t run faster than god…when your dreams turn into nightmares.
“virtuous” in the Hebrew (chayil) is a dynamite word. More than moral and chaste, it actually means “strong and able.” The virtuous woman is one of might and power, a woman who is “war worthy.” Someone who is war worthy is ready to go to war and has one thought in mind: to win. I became aware that I was involved in a war for my son’s life and there came a resolve in my heart that I would do everything in my power to win! The virtuous woman is a warrior woman!
How to Be What I Can’t Become…when He says I’m a saint, but I feel like an “ain’t.”
I pursue God for my sufficiency. Then God pursues me for His destiny. And so it is with our children.
…if you have had weak knees in your chase after God and your kids—forget what you haven’t done, do your best at what you know to do, get up and get going. Your strength for the chase can be perfected in your weakness. (2 Cor. 12.9) His grace is sufficient for His child—and for your child.
…our weakness evokes the strength of His love. With God’s help, we can attain the unattainable.

Wendi,
I have been reading your blog for about two days straight! My husband and I are just begining the process of checking out adoption, and we are really feeling God's call to move forward.
I just wanted to say thank you for such great inspirational stories.
Do you have a website address you wouldn't mind giving out? I'd love to ask you a few questions about the adoption process.
God Bless,
Karyn
