far-sighted

We took Andrew to the eye doctor several weeks ago. He has perfect vision. The doctor attempted to check Tatiana, but she got shy and didn't want to complete the exam. We had to re-schedule. Today, Ben took Tatiana back. The doctor determined upon examination that she is far-sighted. Apparently, children are born far-sighted and as they grow older, it corrects itself. However, hers has not at this point. He would like her to get glasses and wear one week before she returns for a re-check. So, Ben came home with the prescription, and I was able to take her back to choose a frame. It will take 1-2 weeks for them to come in...she looks darling in them. Diego has an appointment on Friday. He has been squinting and blinking repeatedly. I am not sure if he is having difficulty seeing or if he just likes how his lashes feel. He has really long lashes. Well, will report on that after the appointment Friday!
