YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!! 50 MILES WILL BE NOTHING! Go, Wendi, Go! I am so excited that you are setting this goal for yourself! As we knock off our 100 miles here in PA, we will be praying for you in accomplishing your 50 there on the Gulf Coast!
I just saw your post on our blog and I don't mind at all! Glad that you are joining in on the fun! I am absolutely sure that you can attain that 50 mile goal! Perhaps Andrew, Tatiana, and/or Diego would be game in joining you for some of those miles! (Maybe we can even use some all-in-love peer pressure to get Benjamin to join all of us!)
Debi and Mark Adelman (another CHI Colombian Couple) are doing their own sort of fitness challenge as well.
I am sorry to hear about your sister too. I am sure you miss her.
Thanks for the encouragement. It feels great to be walking. I'm glad we have a dog and I work about 1 mile away.
So how have you been doing your walking? Taking a dog for a walk is a great way to get excercise. If you don't have a dog, offer to walk the neighbor's. (I'm sure that will shock your neigbors!!)
Anyway, you can do it! I think you should be proud of 3 miles so far. Don't be discouraged. Keep looking for creative ways/reasons to walk.
Thanks to all those who have helped financially AND thru encouragement and prayer! We believe God's heart is to care for the orphan. We are willing to do that. We are confident in knowing that He will provide the resources... and are grateful for the people He is using like you to do that!
Thanks so much for your contributions and prayers! May God bless you and yours!

Benjamin & I began an exciting journey of adoption with Children's Hope International on August 31, 2006. We brought our children home from Colombia, South America on June 19, 2007.
Thank you for checking in and following our journey. We have been so blessed by the many people God has networked us with during this journey. We know our story is bigger than the picture we see. God bless!
