He sings a "a happy song" over us? Wow...us? Is that crazy? God sings over us? He's proud of us...even despite all the setbacks, wow... I've been meditating on that idea for a while now...

I LOVE this verse. I read it as soon as I read your comment today and I just can't get it out of my head. I can totally relate to your sentiment of "wow...us?" You gotta admit that it's pretty amazing that, no matter how uncertain we feel at any given moment, the truth of the matter is "He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With His love, he will calm all your fears"

Thanks for this post...makes one think. We get so caught up in asking for help for us and for others we forget there is a whole other side to God. Every time we offer up praise or follow His word, I imagine he gives a big smile and pats us on the back, or better yet, hugs us! Wow is right!
