These families have set up blog sites like mine to document their travels. It is quite exciting to follow along and helpful as we continue to pray for them. We also have some friends who are still waiting to travel or are waiting for official referrals. Their blogs are also encouraging to me as their strength encourages me...if you'd like to check out their blogs to learn more about others' experiences or just more about adoption in general, check out my friends!!!

The Adoption Community, I believe, is one of its own. There is a bond and a closeness that I have been able to have with numerous different adoptive and prospective adoptive Mamis that I have not had before that provides a strength and comfort that makes it difficult at times for those outside of the circle to understand, but encourages me as we share stories together of similar instances and brainstorm different approaches, and pray together. Before I started this journey, I told Ben and several others I believe God is going to raise up people around us to help us as we experience the new world of parenting...and he did, not necessarily from people we know, but yes, some people we know, but also, people far away, people we've never met, people only the Father is able to network! Isn't God great at networking the family together? Thanks for "My Circle" God...thank you for those Yahoo Girls who commit to praying on Monday nites, thanks for the CHI peoples who have encouraged me and given me advice when needed. Thanks for my mom for helping out; thanks for raising up a people to carry out your promises...Amen!
God is good! If you have time, check out some of my friends' blogs. They are fun and interesting!

I'm excited to be able to leave a comment, too! I want to thank you for writing this blog and sharing how the Lord has blessed your family. Your children are adorable and I'm cheering for you all from my computer. :-) Some day I hope to join you in the land called parenthood.
Hugs and blessings from Colorado,
Debbie
I wanted to say I've been blessed, beyond measure, by our group too. God new what He was doing to start that group. I was thinking the other day how unique our friendships are, it seems that there is nothing but support and encouragement going on. Maybe when we are only typing we think more about what we say! Thanks for all your prayers and support along the way. Love you!
Sherri
