- no hot water
- the hotel room
- the waiters who learned English for us
- the welcome from our children on Gotcha Day
- our interpreter and his family
- our lawyer
- crayolas all over the floor
- the bellows early in the morning from the guy who sold newspapers
- the horse carriages
- the poor and needy people
- the police men and women
- the poodles
- the young child who nudged Ben's arm for scraps one night when we were having dinner
- the children who were displayed on the tv screen announcing if no family found would be put up for adoption
- the hot and humid days
- when Ben ate cow tongue soup
- the taxi cab
- the Hache' River
- the different socioeconomic levels (#1-4)
- the children's parade
- the maid who handwashed our laundry
- the ICBF staff that helped us
- dinner with our lawyer and ICBF where we had REAL onion rings!
- the longest tantrum yet in the Florencia airport
- the smiles and excitement when on the plane
- when all the children hugged and kissed the police and airport personnel and yelled, "Chow!"
